SPONSORSHIP/PARTNER MANAGER SOCIAL MEDIA WEEK LONDON THE ROLE Social Media Week London (23-27 Sep) provides unique opportunities for brands such as Nokia, Facebook, Adobe, Oracle as well as industry leaders such as EngageSciences, Betapond, Constant Contact and more to engage with our audience of influencers in London and through the global Social Media Week platform. This hybrid role combines elements of sales, account management and creative direction to deliver creative solutions to brands, agencies, publishers and technology companies taking part in SMWLDN. Working with the Chinwag team producing Social Media Week London (SMWLDN), we're looking for a dedicated, energetic, creative thinker who'll enjoy putting together exciting packages that'll hit client's objectives, enticing audience experiences and revenue to support SMWLDN. Being creative, energetic, driven, personable and a good problem-solver is crucial to the role. The role is based at SMWLDN HQ near Old Street in London, but a flexible working environment is actively encouraged. It is envisaged that initially, this role will be a part-time contract running until the start of Oct 2013. This will also include close cooperation with Social Media Week's global team and sales operations based in New York. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE - Development and execution of sales strategy - Collaboration with global sales counterparts as needed on opportunities that represent integrated revenue building opportunities - Maintenance of CRM database consisting of client and prospect companies - Regular reporting of activity/contact reports and revenue pipeline estimates - Development of customised and creative sales proposals QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS The Chinwag team operates in a fast moving, lean and highly collaborative way. The role involves translating business requirements into usable and intuitive on and off-line designs for a variety of pre- and post-launch products for a professional scientific audience.
