SMW REWIND: Social Media - Reshaping Politics and Public Affairs [VIDEO]

Social media week

The enormous growth of the social web has led many companies to embrace it as part of their marketing communications activity.

Far fewer have recognised the threats and embraced the opportunities it provides for corporate relations and public affairs.

Monday's talk at Hub Wesminster saw a panel of experts from the worlds of politics and communications, including Antony Carpen (Former Policy Advisor, Department for Communities and Local Government), Matt Freckelton (Managing Director, Yatterbox), Paul Staines (Guido Fawkes), and Stuart Bruce (Principal, Stuart Bruce Associates), discussed the impact social media has on public affairs and how these tools and networks can be used to influence the public policy debate.
