SMWLDN 2012 Brainstorm Round 2 Announced 7th Dec: Food, Fashion, Sport, Music, Gaming, Family

Brain Embroidery by Spectacles

After last week's successful Social Media Week London brainstorm - we're delighted to announce a SMWLDN Brainstorm Round 2 in preparation for next February's SMWLDN on Wed 7th Dec from 6pm - 8pm in Shoreditch or TechCity, if you're startup-minded (RSVP).

This time, the aim is to focus on how social media is affecting and impacting our day-to-day lives from the clothes we wear, the food we eat, the music we listen to, the games we play, the sport (some of us, ehem) do and our families.

SMWLDN Brainstorm Round 2 (Wed 7th Dec)

We'll kick things off with an intro to Social Media Week, how it works, how to get involved, some of the events already in planning and how to get involved. If you're thinking about running an event, it's a good way to get the 10-minute download on SMWLDN.

Then we'll split into groups with a slightly more freestyle approach for a series of concentrated 10 minute sessions exploring the topics and looking at ideas for events, target audiences looking at:

  • Food
  • Fashion
  • Music
  • Sport
  • Gaming
  • Family

The brainstorm is open to all and bloggers, active social medienthusiats (is that a word?) are particularly encouraged to come along. The more collaboration, the better Social Media Week will be!

Plus, you'll meet some interesting people and create some brilliant ideas. Check out the flipcharts from the last brainstorm.

Having said that, space is limited, please make sure to RSVP so we can ensure there are enough chairs & snacks!
