Microsoft launches WebsiteSpark

Microsoft WebsiteSpark Good news for web developers and designers, Microsoft have launched WebsiteSpark; a program that gives web developers and designers free use of Microsoft development tools, applications and server licenses, for up to 3 years. Read on to find out if you're eligible.

The WebsiteSpark program is the third in the Spark series, behind BizSpark and DreamSpark for students.

If you're a web developer and you want to get your hands on some kit you'll have to be in the business of building web applications or websites for others (ie have clients) and have no more than 10 employees in your organisation.

If you're eligible you'll get 3-year licenses of Visual Studio 2008, Expression Studio, Expression Web, Windows Web Server, SQL Server and DotNetPanel.

I always love a good freebie. Wink
