First Digital Surrey meeting: 29 April 2010, 7pm-11pm. 'The myths of measurement in social media: how numbers and people relate.' Event is taking place at: The Bench, Surrey Sports Park, Richard Meyjes Road, Guildford, GU2 7AD (not on Google Maps, see this map).

Co-ordinated by Surrey based PR agency thebluedoor, Digital Surrey is a space for the digital community of Surrey to stay in touch, meet-up, network, learn and share. This will be the first Digital Surrey event and welcomes everyone with an interest in the digital world.

Benjamin Ellis of social technology company, Redcatco will be the speaker at this free event, talking about the myths of measurement in social media - how numbers and people relate. Benjamin has worked in the internet technology sector for over 20 years, and brings a unique perspective based on his combined background in both engineering and psychology.
