Ravensbourne are running a bumper weekend of free courses at their site in Soho, 01zeroone.


Introduction to Final Cut Pro Friday July 2nd, Saturday July 3rd & - Sunday July 4th 2010 9am to 4:00pmA three-day, hands-on course introducing the primary feature set and basic interface of Final Cut Pro 6.

The session covers: basic setup, adjusting and customising preferences and settings, capturing video and audio, editing and trimming techniques, ripple, roll, slip and slide tools, audio editing and audio creation, finishing and final output.

By the end of the course you will be thoroughly familiar with the user interface and you'll know how to perform all the basic editing functions.

 Audio Visual Production for Non Production Staff  Saturday July 3rd 10:00am - Sunday July 4th 5:00pm

The proliferation of digital media production and consumption means that many professionals, including those in design and advertising agencies, now need to understand the film making process. 

This course is an introductory guide to the Audio Visual production and post production processes. 

Through this two day course you will learn about the production process and get the knowledge that you need to confidently and effectively commission, oversee and receive delivery of Audio Visual Material. 

 Adobe Flash: Getting up to Speed  Saturday July 3rd 2010 9:00am - Sunday July 4th 2010 5:00pm

This 2-day course offers designers and developers new to Flash the knowledge and hands-on practice required to create rich Flash content.

Delegates will work on producing an engaging interface using text, graphics, animations, video, and sound. Simple user interactions are added using built in ActionScript behaviors and Script Assist.
