Description

Two days of design and code for digital designers and developers. Join some of the best in the business for an intensive two-day blitz of cutting-edge design, techniques and technologies.

Over 2 days you'll have access to 4 half-day workshops - pick the ones to suit you - each designed to give you a stack of take-away skills and knowledge which you can put into practice immediately.

Vision+Media are pleased to be working in partnership with The White Room to once again deliver the Technique training camp on our behalf, following the first successful event in January 2010.

Who will be there?

Amazing people like Dan Rubin, Seb Lee-Delisle, James Downes, Jerome & Antony Ribot, Mike Byrne and Matthew Ryan will be there. They'll be leading intensive, hands-on workshops in subjects like JavaScript, CSS3, JQuery, Django, User Experience, Interaction Design for Small Screens, Mobile Games, iPhone OS and Android:

  • We were delighted when Dan Rubin confirmed for one workshop, but then he called back and asked to do another! Dan will be splitting his time between the nuts and bolts of front-end development with CSS3, plus a more design-focussed session.
  • The Ribot Brothers, whose eponymous agency Ribot creates mobile experiences for the likes of Microsoft and Intel, will be running a half day, hands-on session about interaction design for small screens. Says Antony: "We'd like to focus on the more tangible design phases of moilbe product development. Brainstorming, sketching, wireframing, paper-prototyping...the goal is to highlight the importance of the subtleties of the design process."

We'll be announcing the full schedule, including timings, very soon.
