Description

Tweetcamp2011, London, Oct. 8, 2011, is an open, free-to-attend, ‘unconference’ for new and experienced users of Twitter. Its aim is to bring the online world face to face in order to learn from each other, to inspire creative concepts, smart solutions and challenge accepted thinking. It's also an opportunity to take some of those things you tweet about, and have real discussions about those topics, in person.

Who should attend Tweetcamp?

Tweetcamp is for anyone who uses Twitter regularly and wants to bring those conversations offline with a view to sharing experiences, skills, creating change, and building "deeper" relationships with people in your network.

Tweetcamp is about discovering in person, the surprising and different ways that Twitter has enriched diverse communities. Please register for your ticket via this eventbrite page and share your passions.

Unconference format:

Tweetcamp’s dynamic and interactive “unconference” format is ideal to connect people from all sorts of backgrounds, each sharing their expertise and experiences. You help co-create the agenda on the day.

Unconferences differ from normal conferences in that the schedule is filled by you, the attendee with everyone talking about the subjects they have a passion for. We'll feed you Lunch, and prompt you to get started, but you're going to have the chance to both listen, and contribute throughout the day.

From Sentiment Analysis to Programming for Beginners, from Social Etiquette to Arts and Culture, Tweetcamp’s unconference format is ideal to connect people from all sorts of backgrounds, each sharing their expertise and experiences.

What’s next?

We encourage you to start the conversation now. In the build up to the conference potential Tweetcampers are sharing their thoughts on Twitter by including the hashtag #tweetcamp in their tweets. To visualize these conversations social media-monitoring specialist, Brandwatch, has created a virtual Tweetcamp-site.

As an added incentive the top five contributors will have the opportunity to win a spare ticket to the event. Also the most active Tweetcamper, measured by volume of meaningful ‘tweetcamp’ mentions, will claim the right to takeover the ‘Warden’s Tent’ and win a goodie bag from the event sponsors.
