Event description

So you've had the idea, done your research and confident that you can turn it into a successful business... but what next?

At this workshop Mark Twum-Ampofo will talk you through the essentials of setting up a business, taking you along a timeline from initial conception to a successful young company. He will discuss topics such as structuring your business; dealing with the administration of running a company; taking on your first contractors and employees; dealing with VAT and other taxes;  granting share options; and taking in funding.

Get the basics right from the beginning and it will leave you free to concentrate on developing your idea.

Mark Twum-Ampofo is the Technology Partner at top 20 accountancy firm Kingston Smith. If there are any particular areas that you would like Mark to cover during the presentation please feel free to send your questions to him in advance at mtwum-ampofoatkingstonsmith [dot] co [dot] uk.

Doors open at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start, please arrive in good time so as not to disrupt the presentation. Drinks and snacks will be provided as we appreciate you'll probably have been working hard all day. If you have any questions relating to the series please contact Caroline Heron at carolineatminibarlabs [dot] com.
