Description

Free Networking & Keynote Speech Event

Despite being in economic hardship since the fall of the big banks in 2008, times have never looked so good for start-ups and online businesses. People are spending more time and money on websites and apps with the internet proving to be the greatest launchpad for innovative ideas.

We will be bringing together some big success stories of start-ups that achieved monumental growth and success within a matter of years. The Digital Pond will be inviting them to share their secrets of success, and how to utilise new technologies to gain a competitive advantage.

Speakers:

Ted Nash - Having raised investment aged 14, Ted became the first teenager in the world to achieve 1,000,000 downloads on the App Store. At 19 years old, Ted became the youngest employee at management level for NewsInternational as head of digital product innovation. Ted Nash has been covered extensively in national media and he now runs Liquid5; a dynamic, well funded and fast-paced start up with his partner and CTO, Nick Reffitt. Ted also created Nascore; a seed fund which invests in talented young individuals.

Nadav Poraz - Nadav is an entrepreneur with 15 years of experience in consumer tech and enterprise software. Starting out as a software developer, he moved on to leadership and consultancy roles in several startups and software firms. Nadav combined his passion for music and technology when founding WhoSampled in 2008. Prior to that, Nadav received his MBA from Imperial College London in 2007.

Our speakers come to you with a wealth of experience in launching start-ups in tech, and will be sharing their stories and answering all of your questions.
