Framestore's co-founder and Creative Director, Mike McGee presents the company's recent groundbreaking work including a behind-the-scenes look at the making of their Oscar & BAFTA winning film, 'Gravity'.
About Mike: In April 1987 Mike co-founded Framestore, then a London based post-production studio, with three partners. As the company has grown from four people to a staff of over 800, Mike's role as a Creative Director has developed from designing and executing effects for title sequences, commercials and pop promos, to the supervision and delivery of large visual effects projects, such as BBC's Walking with Dinosaurs, and feature films including NannyMcPhee and most recently Your Highness.
Over the years Mike has won numerous awards including 12 International Monitor Awards for Visual Effects and three International Emmy Awards.
Mike is based in the Advertising team and in addition to supervising he has directed work for Robinson's, Next and the BBC.
