Description

Today we are lucky enough to have access to extremely rich multi-dimensional data. However, traditional data analysis techniques are no longer always sufficient for us to exploit this data and use it in decision-making.

This intensive course provides a hands-on introduction to machine learning applied to real-world problems using Python. The course also introduces state-of-the-art Python libraries for data manipulation, data visualisation and machine learning, including numpy, scipy, matplotlib and scikit-learn.

What you will learn

You will learn how to apply machine learning techniques to real-world problems and optimise solutions using Python.

Requirements

Knowledge of basic probability theory.
Familiarity with Python is a bonus. If you never programmed before we highly recommend you first join our fun introduction to programming workshop.
