FLASH: Question about variables

[Just me]

I have some Q for that will help me to understand more variables



lets say that i have a button and in its hit state i will write a variable

"clicked" - from now Flash should remeber my variable

but how to get this back?


 I want my button clicked once play MC X

button clicked  once again play MC Y


i have written variable "clicked" so i could have something like that

if "clicked" once tell target X play

if "clicked" second time tell target Y play

do i think correct? how to do that?


2. does variable always must have value?
