I think you have to remember that even you at one point were
asking
"newbie-ness" questions. I think that is one of the greatest
things about
this list is that people who have question can get them
answered no matter
what they are with out feeling stupid. I have been on this
list close to 2
years and I must say that I am proud of this list and
everyone on it. Thanks
to everyone who has the time to answer "newbie-ness"
questions. For you are
the true professionals.

Before you go and get all out of hand on this...let's see
what I typed:

It's relatively open and unmoderated, but, as you can guess,
certain levels
of unprofessionalism and "newbie-ness" will probably not be
tolerated.

For clarification, that means that certain things regarding
the Multimedia BUSINESS (which I have been a part of a lot longer than I
have been doing Flash) that are either uncalled for, generally obvious or
directed in the good old "Someone send me a contract now! I just got a
project and it's due tomorrow!" format will be rejected. If you've got a
problem with *that*, please address me personally and we can discuss the
matter.

The list is also aimed toward persons who have a "business"
of some sorts and do not necessarily just pick up that one time side job.

My apologies if it wasn't plainly clear before. I really
doubt "newbie" questions are going to be troublesome. The forum is in place
because we're all going to have certain issues to deal with...I just want to
ensure that the questions will be addressed appropriately, and that is where
the "newbieness" comes in. Courtesy/etiquette should be followed.

This has been re-brought to my attention, so now the
Multimedia Business
ListServ has started.

It's relatively open and unmoderated, but, as you can guess,
certain levels
of unprofessionalism and "newbie-ness" will probably not be
tolerated.
