FLASH: Flash 4 text entry

I haven't paid much attention to the list lately, so this may have been

covered already...


I was just checking out a test site that was created using Flash 4.  It had

text entry fields - it was a fake password protected site demo.


Anyway, I was curious how Flash 4 handles text entry?  This site only worked

if you typed in your info and then pressed a button - hitting enter or Tab

didn't work for text entry.  Is this how Flash 4 has to work?


Also, how will it pass text information along for use as a variable?


Just curious - the E-commerce applications for this seem pretty exciting to

me.
