I'd like to add this about cursor changing,


although you may not be able to change the cursor. Their is nothing wrong

with adding to it. If you create a Movie Clip with DRAG on, you could then

have the MC represent some kind of cursor addition, like a word or symbol

that hangs off the OS cursor. In this way, you are adding to the symbolism

of the OS cursor.


much like you would see in windows when you click for help and a question

mark appears next to the arrow stem.


the various states of the mouse can also be set depending on what you roll

over and roll out of.
