Subject: FLASH: Help: Flash on CD for PC & MAC
From: Michael Truese
Date: Tue, 31 Oct 2000 12:46:15 GMT

Just finished a client site (check it out at www.eventstyle.com)

Now, client wants to create a CD to send out to prospects, with more
features/content (like video of some events, which we choose to not stream
over internet).

We'd prefer to create a CD to avoid bandwidth issues. Problem is, I am a PC
person (actually, that's not *the* problem- grin). This CD needs to be
playable in both PC & Mac systems, and I know next to nothing about the Mac.
Can anyone direct me to some resources (or hard earned experience) in this
type of dual format CD, and what I have to do to provide workable files for
both sides. We plan on using a CD replicating service (not selected yet -
tips, experiences, both good & bad also appreciated), so what I am looking
for is advice on how to prepare the content, give it to dupe house, and make
sure it will all work.

Can anyone out there help me, off list or on, email me, please!

Thanks
Mike Truese
