UKNM: Games Consoles...the saga continues

OK, so I don't want to get into a...my console renders more polygons than

yours-style debate. 


I just spotted this story on Wired News:


Engineers are blown away by a preview of Sony's retooled gaming platform. Sony

says the system is not only about fast graphics, it's about becoming the hub of

digital entertainment. Leander Kahney reports from Palo Alto, California.

The interesting fact here, is that the machine clearly has a lot of grunt to

it, sounds like the kind of machine, that with Internet access could provide

hardcore interactivity to the home at a price point that will make it truly

mass-market. Now if they only put a digital TV receiver in it....
