What kills me is that there are some dedicated Internet players in the UK

market that have 'taken on the Americans' for some time and  quite

effectively, this without the deep pockets of the Americans nor the

generosity of investors.  What really pisses me off is that Virgin, who

have been on the fringes with average services, suddenly gain a John Wayne

swagger and claim to be the flag wavers.  Bransons's statement 'We think we

can take on the Americans and beat them' is making the news because he is

King Richard.  He can't turn a PC on, but he can make such a statement...a

statement that many of us have been actively undertaking with determination

for a number of years now.  Its frustrating having to watch 'the bearded

one' make headlines with it.  But there again...we are no Virgins.  Nuff

said.
