doesn't the disclaimer need to be immediate, hence it appears at the end of

the e-mail... if you put a link to the disclaimer, then you are not making

it immediate as there is a call to action... hence you make it explicit in

the body of the text whereas with the link, it is up to someone to click on

it...


but then, calling all our legal people reading the list... why the need for

a disclaimer on e-mails when we don't put disclaimers in postal letters or

even on phone calls being made... you don't say before or after a phone

conversation that "the views of this phonecall may not be those of the

company...blah, blah, blah..."
