Strange that. We set it up for the emphasis to be on socialising. But
of course as soon as people feel they don't have to network, they do
(drunkenly, loudly).

But BooB is now attracting non-new media types such as those from the
music and film and banking industries, who can meet people without
seeming to be offering commitment - like First Tuesday without the
money. Or the speeches. Or the organisation.

I have closed exactly *zero* deals at BooB - but a lot of people find it
easy to do so - up to them.

Still refusing the sponsorships though....and I hear there is now a
spin-off TechNight which is at the same place but on the first Mondays
of each month where everyone gets high on pills of DBA. They take the
sponsorships...
