the point about accessibility within site design <which i believe alongside
usability ought to be the basis of any approach even before you talk about
branding and all that> is not simply about retro-browsers, old machines,
partially sighted users etc but actually about future proofing a site - so
that it will work on webTV, hand-helds and all the stuff that hasn't yet
arrived without the expense of rebuilding from scratch.
