Great idea, saves having to type in this .co.uk, .com nonsense, course
we may end up with a similar situation where Joes Pizza in Devon won't
be able to register because Joes Pizza in London has already grabbed
it. I understand they're toying with using geographic references to get
around this.
We've actually registered a few things and I run the plug in on my
Netscape browser. It'll grow, simplify and complicate all at the same
time. The benefits of tying a word to a campaign that can be entered
into a browser is infinitely better than having to give boring URL's,
particulalry if the product/service is buried in a
website.(www.xyz.co.uk/tei/abd -vs- 'the future's bright'. The main
problem I can see is educating people to the exact wording - Joes Pizza,
Joes, Joes of Devon, Joes Restaurant etc.
