Hi there - the alert is the virus.  It's a so-called text virus ie not a virus

at all in the malignant sense but one in that, as you have just done, that

little bit of text gets forwarded, reproduced and passed on just like a real

virus.  The last one I got told me that AOL (it's always AOL if the virus

originated in the States) could read everything on my hard disk and was

gleaning info on all its users.
