Doh - for the reasons in the email ... if they get clicked on then the is a

high chance you loose a visitor from your website + it has demonstrably

lower value than clickable banner ads so they can be off load some of the

excess capacity (esp. to sponsors - keeping them happy) without devaluing

the "real" banner ads ...
