It is helpful, we will make available to the list [moderator-Sam allowing]
[Sam says: sure, go right ahead.] an off-the-shelf lobby response to the consultation paper towards the end
of next week, along with who to send it to, etc.
This *is* important because the DTI has left the back door well and truly
open for the return to a policy of mandatory key escrow, and the security
forces are using some intersting tactics in the background.

The long-delayed Govt consultation document is at

They have allowed three weeks (!) for the consultation period.
