Subject: UKNM: Fragmentation
From: james.gordon-macintosh

I'm doing a spot of research for a client into a series of areas, but am
basically trying to find out how new technologies are fragmenting
advertising revenues in the entertainment industry as viewing habits change
(-- away from broadcast and toward increasingly narrow cast channels).

If anyone knows of research into this area, really looking closely at the
ways that new technologies are changing people's lives from a sociological
point of view, or indeed on the ways that people's TV viewing / net usage
will impact upon each other in the future, please let me know.

Oh, and if anyone has a view on the above assertion re. ad fragmentation,
please feel free to object.

J xx.
