Subject: UKNM: training needs
From: Aidan Cook
Date: Wed, 13 May 1998 17:47:35 +0100

Yorkshire Media Training Consortium (non-profit organisation) rang up and
asked me some questions, so I thought it might be worth getting more
response than just my opinion (for what it's worth).

laters,

Aidan

oh, and rather than have numerous questionnaires flying about the list, if
you could mail your responses to:

We need to do some detailed research into multi-media training needs as it
seems to be well overdue.
Please could you answer the following questions to help us get an overview
of the issues which face you, to enable us to begin to address the specific
needs of your industry.
We will be undertaking a more complete research survey in the next few
weeks, but your responses will help us ask the right questions.
Please note, this is not a sales/marketing survey. We want to provide the
best service we can to our industries and workforce. You can help us do
this. We will be trying to provide the training identified as a priority.

Could you answer the following?

What is your organisation/company name?

What are your main activities?

Are there any skills you feel your company needs to acquire?

Do your workforce have qualifications specific to the job?
If so, what?

Do you know where to go to get the right kind of training?
If so, where?

Have you had any problems finding training which addresses your needs?

Where in UK are you situated?

Is there anything else you think we should know?
