a query:


anyone got any stats for how many customer emails typical ecommerce

sites get? 


I know this is hard to define, so I propose another spurious measure:


talkback ratio: total of customer-originated emails over total pageviews

/day. 


maybe that should be unique users rather than pageviews, but I suspect

there's a fairly stable range of values for this figure, across a number

of sites.
