A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time support role in a small, experienced digital consultancy. Working alongside a director who has more than 15 years of experience in the industry, this role would suit someone who is passionate about digital communications and looking for an immediate start. As assistant digital producer you will support the daily running of the consultancy, working across a variety of roles and digital disciplines, including UI design, coding/development and project management, depending on your specific skill sets. You will also have the opportunity to develop and launch new digital assignments and take control of developing team projects. A team player who is able to think on their feet, this role would suit someone with excellent communications skills who is flexible in their approach and creative in their thinking. Some prior knowledge and experience of digital communications is essential, as is a good understanding of web applications, mobile, innovative new platforms and how they suit the requirements of businesses. Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit a digital marketing specialist who will be responsible for designing, managing and optimizing online advertising working across both the UK & US markets. Responsibilities will include: Manage and optimise the paid search activities for the US market across Google Adwords and Bing Ads Manage all aspects of paid search activity including: keyword research, ad copy testing, geo-targeting, day-parting analysis, etc Proactively drive A/B and multi-variate testing, partnering with business analysts, creative and product teams Perform in-depth analysis of digital channel conversion and ROI to make recommendations and implement strategies for improvement Provide detailed reporting, analysis and forecasting activities to present to leadership Leverage and learn the latest technologies across digital channels such as: paid search, display, social, retargeting, mobile and other forms of digital media Additional responsibilities include testing and optimising new/emerging digital channels The Candidate Ideally degree level in Statistics, Maths or Marketing One to two years of marketing experience, preferably online including paid search, social media marketing and/or display would be an advantage Working knowledge of various measurements technologies and analytics software such as Google Analytics Creative thinker with ability to problem solve and find new ways of working Excellent communicator with attention to detail A team-player, who can take responsibility and work independently Are you someone with a start-up attitude? As part of the marketing team, you will use your strong content and writing skills to manage, create and optimise both onsite and marketing content across all of Funding Circle's web properties. You will be a methodical and skilled practitioner of the English language, with an expert knowledge of the online environment and user experience, particularly around what makes users convert. You can create this level of quality content on a regular basis and manage the whole planning process around it. With your focus shifted to the website you know how to tweak one word to increase the site's conversion rate by 10% or more. You can improve a user's experience by artfully guiding them through the signup flow with enticing, encouraging and simple verbiage, while you appreciate that a website may only reach a zen state of usability once all messages, prompts, tone, brand and terms are consistently tailored and applied throughout the site. You have experience in testing messaging and content to help improve the conversion and performance of a website. You possess a practical understanding of Google Analytics and can work a spreadsheet to use these to understand the performance of your wordsmithing and analyse the data to come up with new ideas and theories? Key responsibilities will include: Conceptualising, creating, distributing and measuring marketing content. Manage the content function and ensure consistent output of articles. Take full control of all onsite copy and wording ensuring consistency, accuracy and improved conversion. Assist in launching new products and features to the site. Work closely with the product team to ensure consistency and simplicity in the site architecture. Devise, and execute on, optimisation testing hypotheses based on input from the broader team and your knowledge of optimisation best practice. Define and report on relevant KPIs to measure the performance of the content and optimisation function. Ensure successful optimisation tests are scaled into production with the front end and design teams. Help improve the efficiency of the performance team by creating landing pages that convert effectively. The Candidate Minimum 2:1 degree qualification Preferably you will have at least two yearâ€™s hands-on experience in onsite and marketing content where you can prove that you successfully introduced changes that brought more conversion efficiency and improved quality of content. You are a proficient writer that can produce regular, unique, high quality content, with many visible, online examples of your writing. You are comfortable identifying and overseeing the execution of major and minor content opportunities. Experience running an A/B testing environment, preferably using Optimizely, would be a strong advantage. Working knowledge of Google analytics would be advantageous. You possess an understanding of user centric design, user experience and what motivates people to convert in online and mobile environments. Understanding how to maximise the number of viewers to a piece of content through SEO, social, email and headline crafting. Are you someone with a start-up attitude?
