We are currently looking for a permanent Data Planner. The right person for this role will have proven experience of generating data driven, actionable insight to inform communications strategies. You’ll have worked on campaigns from segmentation, selections and testing strategies through to evaluation. You’ll bring with you a passion for data, amazing attention to detail with strong analytical and strategic skills. As one of our internal experts you’ll also need to share you wisdom as part of our Good Academy programme. Providing data driven insight - Having knowledge of tools to be able to provide data driven insight - Helping to understand values and motivations; and identifying actionable human insights - Delivering demographic, behavioural insights - Identifying lapsing trends, cross sell and upgrade opportunities - Measuring lifetime value - Undertaking product portfolio reviews and developing supporter value strategies - Familiarity with charity databases - Raiser’s Edge, Access, as well as TGI and SPSS a bonus Generating market insight - Supporting the Planning team on crunching any data collected that helps provide insight into market trends such as category, consumer, market context, emerging/dominant cultural trends, latest donor research - Having an understanding of web and marketing metrics and tracking mechanisms - Having an understanding of industry data sources such as web analytics tools (at least Google Analytics), social media monitoring technology (NM Incite’s MyBuzzmetrics, Radian 6, Sysmos or similar) and ad serving technology (DoubleClick, MediaPlex, etc.) - Being able to gather intelligence from the social web – analyse the participation of individuals and communities in social media in order to understand their behaviours and motivations as well as broader consumer/market trends Campaign Using data to: - Identify who to target for campaigns, and provide support with segmentation, prompting strategy, etc. - Build propensity modelling and forecast modelling - Develop testing strategies for all types of campaigns (online, campaigning, events, appeals, upgrade, reactivation, cross sell potential, etc.) - Undertake results analysis and evaluation – generating insight, pulling together testing results, informing future strategies - Analyse acquisition channel effectiveness Supporting Planners, Account Handlers, and Business Development - Generating market insight from data including market trends and consumer analysis through use of planning tools such as TGI, Billets, etc. - Supporting Planners in the creation of an information centre which aims to generate, store and share agency learnings; particularly through campaign results and benchmarking/industry results - Using prior experience and skills to write client ready reports, and deliver presentations in a corporate setting - Using excellent attention to detail in all work and assuming responsibility for quality control for data - Educating agency staff so they are knowledgeable about the hidden potential within data and helping to sell data services to their clients - Supporting on pitches and proposals - Keeping abreast of latest thinking, innovation and market developments in the world of data as well as legalities/IOF best practice of data use/DP and sharing with the Planning team and wider agency Being Good - At all times embodying and promoting our core values of Together, Brave, Go-getting, Fun and Good Get in touch if you think this is the perfect role for you.
We are looking for someone to come in on a 6 month contract. You will need to have managed the full digital process from scoping through to build, testing and deployment on a wide variety of projects using MS Project. You will have successfully built websites, banners, email and social media campaigns for budgets ranging from £10 to £100k.
