Consultancy for companies and organisations looking to transition towards a social business communications model: I help businesses to adapt to the ongoing changes in media consumption, content creation and dissemination, attitudes and technology. In particular I look at the human aspect of change, and how this needs to be led and nurtured for the effective adoption of social media within and without.
My marketing career spans over 18 years including international managerial positions with Nike and adidas. For the last twelve years I have worked in online marketing, with my own consultancy business now in its tenth year.
I combine strategic thinking with 'walking the talk' - An early adopter, I have been on Twitter since 2007 and over the last five years have designed and delivered workshops on Twitter, Facebook and Google+ for small businesses. I am an experienced conference speaker and trainer and an original thinker who enjoys working with forward-looking businesses.
Freelance writer and author: I have written hundreds of original articles for both print and online publications, business & trade press and blogs, and my first book 'Blogging for Creatives' is due to be published by Ilex/F&W in Spring of 2012. Article forthcoming in 'Market Leader', the journal of the Marketing Society, September 2012.
