ADMIN: List Problems

Apologies if you receive this message twice.


You might be experiencing a delay in receiving the mailing list, this is

due to a fault at Telehouse (one of the main Internet inter-connection

points for the UK). On Friday evening, this facility suffered a major power

outage, which took down some of the UK's largest ISPs.


It also took out the main DNS server for the shocker.com domain, and I have

a very strong feeling that the reason the lists have been quiet is due to

this. Unfortunately the power fault has corrupted one of the main discs on

this server and it is taking longer than expected to fix it.


In the meantime you can send email to the list using the following

addresses (which are always available if you have any problems):
