Subject: Re: How to make a flash with the score in flash 3.0?

This is my analysis of how SmashingIdeas created that game. This may not be
right, but it seems that it can be done.

1) In reference to the score, I assume that they have created a scene for each
score in sets of 10. For instance, there is a scene that is called -50, and
one that is
probably 150. I am sure they created a wide range of scenes for this.

2) In order to change the score, each character that pops up from behind
something has a hit area. If your score is 50 and you click on the clown's
nose, the button goes to the scene for the score of 60, and then plays the
animation. When a user clicks on Lou while they have a score of 60, the
button will go to the scene for the score of 50 and start playing that scene's
animation.

3) In reference to how long it takes before the game ends, I am sure it
relies on a very very long animation in one scene that when nothing is clicked
on, the last frame of that animation (Could be the 600th frame...) and it will
go to the scene that says time's up.

<< Hello all,
I go to a website which write a game by flash 3.0. The address is
here: http://www.smashingideas.com/bomber.htm
In the game, there is a score counter. How to write it in flash 3.0?
does anyone know that?
