Possibly nothing.
It is possible that the Sound Player for your Midi is actually using the
wave portion of the Sound card. Unfortunately most sound cards do not
allow playback of two separate wave playback sources at one time. On
Windows both Beatnik and Quicktime play Midis through the wave portion
of the sound card. Open your sound audio console and see when the sound
is playing to make sure.
To solve the problem on your computer you can install a Midi sound
player that uses the Midi portion of the sound card. For visitors to
your site you must keep this in mind while designing you audio setup.
