Subject: FLASH: Menus and mouseovers


Hi all. I have a problem with a mouseover menu area that's sticky, slow and
unresponsive.

The URL is http://www.electroglyph.com/nordstrom/ithome.htm. (IE4.0 +
only -- it's for a corporate intranet)

The details are that when I mouseover one of the little balls, it has an
invisible hit area over it that jumps it to a frame with a menu in it. In
that frame, I added another hit area that says "on Roll Over, stay in frames
30-42, but on Roll Out, jump back to the frame 1 where the menu disappears".
The problem is that mousing out of the area is really slow and unresponsive.
Half the time the clip doesn't jump back to the beginning and the menu clips
for different buttons overlap. Mouse around the area fast and you'll see
what I mean.

Any suggestions on how to optimize? I want it to be as responsive as
possible. Need to see the FLA file?
