Subject: RE: FLASH: Alleged IE 4.5 Mac failures-need samples!!

Hi Frederico,

The site worked fine on my IE 4.5/Mac. I like the line drawings particularly.

Perhaps those experiencing problems need to simply allocate more RAM to IE.

Do you have to open another browser window?

I've heard IE doesn't support Javascript in a "standard" way. We
generally encourage customers to use Netscape Navigator or
Communicator - providing a link on our sites. Doesn't IE insert an
"all" object that Netscape doesn't?

I'd be happy to be proven wrong, this is based on trying to deliver a
Flash animation to IE users on version 4.01 and 4.5

Perhaps it was their version of Windows... any suggestions?

Don't misunderstand me, I appreciate that fact people have to use
what they use.
