FLASH: Setting Veriables

Hey all,


I'm farily new to the Actionscripting half of Flash and have a bit of a

dilemma. I'm trying to set a variable that will change it's value depending

on what section of a portfolio I'm in. That way, the movie knows what

section I'm currently in. However, when I set the variable as an action in a

button and click that button, the value of the variable doesn't change.


Am I doing something incorrectly?
