Hi Matt,
First, I must say that you have done an awesome job with pushing Flash and
the site reflects your technical expertise with the program. However, as
other people have said, I found myself almost immediately lost confused on
what to do next...
One suggestion would be to concentrate more of the user interaction to a
more centralized location on the screen - be it in a specific corner or
side or another area. Personally, with so much interactivity located at
esentially every corner of the screen, I was a little overwhelmed at how
much your site could do. Not that having that much interaction and
functionality is bad, just that it created a confusing atmosphere for the
site.
The 3D rotating nav worked pretty slow on my machine (G3/350/196 mb/8.6)
but everything else worked pretty good. I did find that I could "break"
the connection of some of the expanding/shrinking lines that join specific
windows..
Hope these few suggestions help... Again, great job on pushing Flash -
with reworking some of the usability and functionality issues I think that
you'd have an awesome Flash site.
Nathan
