Well, I certainly would host such a site at designthenet.com
I use that site for this exact purpose. Client instructions, client help
widgets, demos for specific clients etc.
Not nearly using my bandwidth allocation.
One day I'll use it to promote myself, but thank God I have not had to
devote that time yet.
What if I set up a major-domo served from there and we can use that to
discuss what gets posted at the 'Flash Compatability and Resolutions Site'.
And the site is just a plain, controlled only by the developers on this list
and is about compatibility and what we have discovered and made solutions
for.
Management could be an issue . . . someone said it needs to be VERY focused.
Yes . . . that's the idea.
What the hell . . .let's just do it and see how it goes! I'll get things set
up this week (bear in mind that it's tax week for me).
Let me know if you have any ideas on how to set this up.
I think to start I'll do this:
1)major-domo list for discussion on this *very specific* topic.
2)A way for us to post via form directly to the site which will up date
immediately
3)The site itself will contain the most accepted, QA'd solutions that the
consensus agrees on.
I'll have the list server set up Tuesday and inform...
Well?
