FLASH: Help with an FTP Site

I am new to Flash and am trying to impress the boss with an FTP site on our

corporate Intranet.

My intention was to have a directory containing the files with a

corresponding text file detailing the application.

The FTP 'application' interrogates the directory building a list of files /

descriptions available for download, the selected file would be acquired

using a GetURL command?

A bit of a show stopper seems to be the lack of file handing options

available to Flash.

Could anyone please tell me how to parse a directory listing into

variables.


If I am barking up the wrong tree please comment as desire to impress could

lead to new responsibilities (Like doing this for a living!!?!)

I can't find any examples on this any where but if anybody could point me

at one then I would be very grateful.
