I said this before. The MS IE browser is much more than a tool to surf the
world wide web. It would be like having a Ford being interchangabel with
a GM. Just because both are cars, it doesn't mean that all of the ECM data
that controls the onboard computers would work with each others vehicles.
Some of us use these technologies you speak about to create browser
specific applications that have nothing to do with surfing the web.
client/server relationships does not necessarily mean surfing the internet.
A company that can create a stripped down browser designed exclusively
for the masses and is based on the W3C standards might do well.
I don't have any pennies so here's a nickles's worth.
