Congratulations, David.
I've asked numerous other questions to the list, as well, and gone even further
to ask them of Macromedia. Yet, still, here we are.
That being said, who cares? I was pointing out that (here's some background so
you can understand where my rant came from), while reading this month's
Business 2.0's article on Rob Burgess, I was directed to Shockwave.com and
decided to see how the page has been updated. From there, I checked out the
SSOD and noticed that it was the XMen the movie page. Hey, I used to read
XMen, so I checked it out.
I was unimpressed.
That was my point.
The process that actually happens...well, I care less about it. I find it hard
to believe that the quality control on the SSOD could be so...lame. Let me
take that back a notch. I find it hard to believe that the quality control on
a site for a multi-million dollar movie could be so lame and that even after
THAT it could still be the SSOD, rather than something a bit more innovative.
Tired of defending it? Don't. I'm not asking you to. Just like you, or any
of MM isn't asking me to write articles about their tools or speak about their
tools. Just like you really aren't concerned with my efforts (they seem to
really just benefit me and keep you and yours employed), I don't really care
about the process.
It was more of a rhetorical type thingy. Dear Lord.
