Subject: Re: FLASH: moving an mc gradually

Hello, I have a similar question to what Olga was asking, but I need the MC
to move from one location to another independant of the main timeline.
Here's what I'm trying to do: have a clickable button (in a menu MC) tell
the menu MC to move off the screen so only part of it is showing. Then when
it's clicked again, it will move back to it's original position.

Hi Olga,

Why not have 2 keyFrames and use, NO code at all, tweening in the properties
dialog of the first keyframe. This way you can place the MC in the second
keyFrame wherever you want and it will animate (tween) from keyFrame 1
loaction to keyFrame 2 location.

Is this what you meant?

Robert
