Hi Everyone
I drew a map using Flash 3 a while back, which was fine, but when I got
Flash 4, it doesn't seem to work.
The problem is - If I export a .swf file using Flash 3 (as a Flash 3 file),
I get the map I made, but if I export it using Flash 4 (as a Flash 3 or
Flash 4 file - it doesn't seem to matter!), I just get a load of red
squares?
I know that if I try and explain this , it'll be impossible, so here's the
URL's to see exactly whats happening.
The one exported with Flash3 (This is fine!) -
http://homepages.tesco.net/~iamshopping/siteria-map.htm
The one exported with Flash4 (screwed up!) -
http://homepages.tesco.net/~iamshopping/screwed-map.htm
Also, if it helps anyone - heres the original .fla file -
http://homepages.tesco.net/~iamshopping/map-fla-file.zip
I was thinking that maybe the fla file had got screwed up somehow, so I
re-installed Flash 3 onto the machine with Flash 4, and I can open the file
which looks fine in Flash 3, then open it in Flash 4, which looks fine until
I go "Test Movie", at which point all the pics disappear and I get red
squares.
I've tried copying and pasting the parts from Flash 3 to Flash 4, but that
just makes Flash 4 crash.
So I opened the original and a new blank file in Flash 4 and copied from one
part to the other, but that works perfectly.
Any ideas anyone?
Ben
P.S. Thanks in advance for anyones help - this is driving me mad.
