Helen,

See it like this:

a digital business card which will be supplied to several different people
containing a little game:
after playing the game, you can upload the highscores to the net, i'd like
to use ASP to read the vars, off course ASP runs on the server...

you ran into such problems I mean the server not to read any vars from a
stond alone??

please help
