Ted, Helen,

I hope this helps. The issue is not the Service Pack on NT 4.0. It is in IE
and the files it installs and modifies.
The Comcat.dll file is the wrong version and/or damaged.
(C:\WinNT\System32\)

Fix:
Rename Comcat.dll in the folder path above, and then reinstall IE. It's that
easy. :) Do not delete Comcat.dll, just rename it in the same folder to
whatever you want and rerun the IE setup.exe.

(Take a wild guess what I do for a living)

Subject: FLASH: trouble loading pages containing flash

I have no idea what is up, but I all of the sudden am
unable to load webpages with Flash content on my NT
box. The message I get is:

"This page provides potentially unsafe information to an
ActiveX control. Your current security settings prohibit
running controls in this manner. As a result, this page
may not display correctly."

And it doesn't. No Flash displays. I tried reinstalling
Service Pack 5. I tried lowering my security settings to
the lowest setting. Nothing worked. Any ideas?

Ted
