Subject: Re: FLASH: Displaying specific load status in percentage

Thanks for checking Branden... That was the idea that I was trying to
work with initially except for the fact that I wanted to have some form of
animation (loading bar in this case) to respond alongside the data that was
being fed to the swf. I tried the method that you were mentioning and it
worked fine with displaying the load variable in a text field.

Seems like there would be quite a few ways to tackle this whole idea...
I'm assuming that the method that you were mentioning will work only if
you're just reporting the load status in a variable, otherwise, if you
include other animation (that may be complex) cooresponding with that it
wouldn't work consistently. If the animation mc is loaded in the first
frame and started up I assume that would work, but wouldn't be as accurate
as it wouldn't be reporting entirely from 0% all the way to 100%... Any
thoughts???

thanks,
Nathan
