Hi,

It's not all that difficult. You need a film fragment and a program
like premiere. You put the filmfragment in the timeline and select
the filter black and white and select the level. shuffle with the
slider till you think the person is almost free of the background.
Than export the fragment as bmp or pict sequence. select on the
output about 10 or 12 frames a second.
Import the sequence in flash, take trace bitmap and say colour 100%
and curves very tight, otherwise it's difficult to delete the not
wanted parts.
Trace the bitmaps and delete the surroundings of the person.
align the bitmaps and scroll them to see what pictures you can delete
anyway because they are to close in movement to another bitmap. This
way you can delete a lot of unnecessary frames and this is better for
your filesize.
This must should lead you in the direction.

regards
Karin
