FLASH: 2 movie talking for navigation

has anyone seen a tutorial explaining how to get two different movies to

talk to each other for navigational purposes? I saw the link that was put up

yesterday... and that covers sending variables between two movies..... but

I'm having a brain lock as how I might be able to use that to accomplish

this...
